There are three types of heroes: Commander, Spy and Diplomat. Each type has it's own set of actions. Each hero has 6 major skills: strength, dexterity, constitution, charisma, wisdom and intelligence.

Tavern gives a choice of 3-5 heroes for hire. Each major skill is random between 5 and 9. One can refresh list of heroes unlimited number of times for free, but it is still hard to get a hero with perfect major skills.

Heroes from ruins have major skills important for their type at 15 and other major skills at 10-12. Such ruins are not common and have only 10% chance to produce a hero.

Starting heroes on alliance and fast servers have major stats around 10.

Each hero type has 3 minor skill trees.

Commander: General, Commanding, Fighting

Spy: General, Spying, Sabotage

Diplomat: General, Management, Diplomacy

Commander

Commander is for fight. Major skills needed: strength, dexterity.

Commander actions depend on support units it has.

List of actions:

  • Excavate ruins (with researcher)
  • Collect resources from a cell (with workers)
  • Camp

...

Spy

Spy is for spy. Major skills needed: constitution, charisma, wisdom and intelligence.

List of actions:

  • Search for a spy on a tile (1min, cooldown 10min), (provides experience)
  • Cripple enemy hero (roots it in place for approximately 2 hours)
  • Assasinate a hero (prerequisites are not clear)

Diplomat

Diplomat is for diplomacy. Major skills needed: constitution, charisma, wisdom and intelligence.

List of actions:

  • Explore the ruins (5min?, no cooldown)
  • Explore cell resource
  • Expand alliance territory to a cell (cost grows exponentially by the distance to the closest alliance city)
